Great to see transparent information from wrexham.com

Does anyone know the difference between the “cash spend” (eg £211m), and the “gross expenditure” (eg £430m).

Is there a budget in the public domain for the current year?

Isn’t the cash spend including income and gross expenditure just expenditure not including any income. That’s how I would read it

think Rogers means net budget rather than cash spend.

probably doing it on purpose, but then again you are purposely doing it also, to further your belief that schools’ budgets should be taken out of the council budget and management.

Stop wasting money on paying for taxis to take kids to school. Some families get a mobility car do not work and LEA pays for taxis. Some live within walking distance of the school.

I would put schools in one North Wales authority, which has no need to be top heavy. Head teachers and parents should be the centre piece.

But coming back to how the whole budget is spent . . .
