Anyone know if the Scouts on Dean Road are selling real Christmas trees this year?

Pity, rather give my money to the Scouts than some of the other usual suspects.
They were good trees as well.

What a shame, have had a lovely tree from them for the past few years.

Wrexview buy an artificial tree and save the carbon footprint.

If the Christmas tree comes from woodland that is sustainably managed or replanted, it will have a much smaller carbon footprint than an artificial tree made from plastics and undoubtedly imported with all the carbon produced during its journey.

This is a great article – on average, a plastic artificial tree needs to be used for 12 Christmases in order to have a lower carbon footprint than having a natural tree and disposing of it every year.

Of course a natural tree absorbs carbon whilst being grown.

Wrexview After reading the posts of Ioan y Ffin and Matt I have had second thoughts and maybe suggest you go without a tree this xmas.
