    When we are being charged an extra £25 for green bin collection how can this loss of revenue be justified?

    What the figures don’t show are how long some of the other debts had been outstanding before they were paid- lost interest and lost use of the money for other projects.

    As the system of collecting debts is so poor in one Department it is probably the same in others — wonder if the Council are prepared to put out a figure showing the total level of debt from all services and how much are they really writing off each year-
