The Wrexham Leader, or Leader is a stalwart in the local media scene serving the area since the early 1970’s.
“Wrexham Leader” is a week day based newspaper , with the ‘Big’ Leader dropping through some peoples letterboxes on a Friday. They have a Wrexham office, however the paper is put together in Mold.
In 2006 the Wrexham Leader had a facelift bringing it up to date with a new logo and layout, and in 2017 the family business was sold off to mega-media-corp Newsquest.
