How to research your market. This workshop provides an introduction to the marketing process and will introduce you to developing marketing strategies. You will gain an understanding in market research and why good market research can provide a solid foundation in developing your marketing strategy. This session will also provide guidance on what information you need to know about your customers, competitors, the size of the market and market trends. Free but booking essential. Funded by Welsh Government.

Garden Village Farmers Market: The market takes place every 1st Saturday of the month just opposite the Four Dogs Pub. Come and see some of the best local produce from around the area. Locally produced meat, cheese, pies, bread, veg, fudge, vegetarian food, gluten free products and many other artisan craft stalls. History Alive. An annual living history festival at Bersham Ironworks with 23rd Regiment of Foot re-enactors taking centre stage.

Olympic/Paralympic Games Taster for Children
Plas Pentwyn and Wrexham Council’s Sports Development team are holding an Olympic & Paralympic taster morning for children on the 7th August between 9:30am-12:30pm on the Centre’s field. With the Olympics underway, this as a great opportunity for children to get a good taste of some of the sports that are being played this year. A variety of sports will be delivered during the morning including: Goalball, sitting volleyball, jumping & running events and more. All children under 7 must be accompanied by an adult. Drinks will be provided on the day and there are no admission costs.

We have lots of interesting recycled items for you to see and Michael may even come along to say hello!
