The ‘Education Begins at Home’ campaign aims to get parents involved in their child’s education by highlighting the extra little things they can do at home, including weighing ingredients together when cooking; counting change when you go to the shops; and singing well known nursery rhymes with numbers like Ten Green Bottles. You’ll find lots of helpful tips and advice at www.facebook.com/beginsathome. There are prizes and giveaways – £50 in love to shop vouchers and £60 Lego prizes plus magnetic boards, stickers and postcards with lots of tips for parents.
