Wrexham Olympic Gymnastics Club Celebrates Success

A Wrexham gymnastics club is celebrating success after achieving top results in a recent North Wales Competition

Members of Wrexham Olympic Gymnastics club have said they are thrilled after a brilliant set of results at the Welsh Gymnastics North Area NDP Grades held at Queensway Sport Centre in Wrexham.

Naimh Kirh came 2nd in Grade 14 in age scoring over 55 points which meant she was able to go to Swansea to compete in the national finals as part of North Wales Area team, which came 4th.

Ella Jones came 1st and Kate Prydderch 2nd in Grade 14 out of age, also competing were Megan Ord, Charlotte Harding and Beth Harrop.

Imogen Williams came 1st in Grade 13 in age and Amiee Morgan was 5th place in Grade 13 out of age.

Georgia Roberts was 2nd and Holly Davies 3 in Grade 12 in age and Katie Huges 5th out of age.

All the girls are said to have performed fantastically well and they all passed their grades with no problems.

Wrexham Olympic Gymnastics Club Coach Alex Owen said “Well done to all the girls, all their hard work paid off.”
