Wrexham man arrested in connection with ongoing investigations into ‘distraction burglaries’

A Wrexham man has been arrested as part of an ongoing investigation into a series of distraction burglaries in the area.

Last week a warning was issued by police to local residents following a series of incidents in the Wrexham area.

Police yesterday confirmed that part of the ongoing investigation a man in his 30s from Wrexham has been arrested on suspicion of burglary. He is in custody in Wrexham police station.

A man arrested in Gwern Lane, Hope, last week since has been release under investigation.
