The festive spirit was high in town as yesterday as Wrexham’s Victorian Christmas Market returned to the town. The Victorian Christmas Market has been a popular favourite in Wrexham’s Yuletide calender, with thousands of visitors and shoppers paying a visit to all that’s on offer.

The weather outside was cold and frightful, causing many of the stalls to relocate inside to St Giles Church. A road closure was also put in place for the day, with many stalls pitching up on the High Street.

On offer at the market was hot food, mulled wine, very tasty cakes, jewellery, gifts, crafts and much, much more! Our personal favourite were the smoked hot dogs and freshly made Welsh cakes.

This year’s Christmas Market joins the schedule for a number of Christmas events in the town this year, with the Coca Cola Truck and Town Centre Light Switch on taking place over the past few weeks.
