Update 8:15pm: Police say recovery has taken place and the road is now clear again.

A stretch of the A483 is blocked this evening due to a collision.

North Wales Police says it has received reports of a two vehicle crash between southbound between the Rhosllanerchrugog and Ruabon exits

Motorists are being told to expect delays whilst the situation is managed.
