Three people charged after serious assault
Police investigating a serious assault in Wrexham last week charged three people and released several others under investigation following an arrest operation across Wrexham County, Cheshire and Shropshire.
On Monday April 2 officers were called to an address in Almond Grove at 1.19pm following reports of an assault in which a local man sustained serious, but non-life threatening injuries.
As a result of the police operation last week, 30-year-old Marvin Frantzen of no fixed address appeared before Mold Magistrates’ Court this morning charged with wounding, aggravated burglary and possession of a bladed article.
Shaun Coleman 26, from Liverpool also appeared charged with firearms offences along with Hannah Thomas 23 from Penley, Wrexham who was charged with firearms offences.
All three have been remanded in custody.
Meanwhile a 26-year-old woman from Llangollen, a 39-year-old woman from Liverpool, a 38-year-old man from Wrexham and a 31-year-old man and and 18-year-old man, both from Liverpool, have been released under investigation.
