“Thank you to Wrexham Police” Says Burglary Victim

This evening saw a crashed ambulance vehicle, a burglar caught plus police helicopter activity above the town – we believe the last two activities were related.

We were contacted this evening via our @wrexham twitter account saying:


The victim also told us that police sniffer dogs were deployed. Shortly afterwards we heard the police helicopter overhead Rhosddu, then Borras & Acton areas overhead of Acton Park.

Later in the evening we were told by Heather “The police have found thief and my stolen things! Thank you to Wrexham Police. They found him in acton park on his bike, thank god!”.

Gresford Roundabout Ambulance Crash

The Gresford Roundabout was closed for traffic coming into Wrexham for a period of time due to a crashed ambulance vehicle. Gavin Rogers sent us the image above – taken from the passenger seat – saying “Not something you see all the time ambulance written off by the gresford roundabout”
