Original information below…

Police have closed roads in Penycae this evening due to a man on a roof.

The fire service is also attending the incident, with roads closed off in the Afoneitha estate, with several police vehicles on the scene.

One resident has said an item thrown from the room has hit a residents cat, and threats are being made to nearby people, who have been advised to stay indoors.

A large amount of debris is being thrown to the floor from the roof, with Matthew sending us this picture of police with shields:

Eyewitnesses commenting on one of the several live Facebook videos have mentioned the man has stripped ‘several’ roofing tiles.
