A road in Llay was temporarily closed this morning following a two vehicle road traffic collision.

At 7:19am this morning North Wales Police were alerted of an RTC involving a black Ford Fiesta and a black Corsa on Llay Road.

It is believed one of the drivers involved sustained a minor injury as a result of the collision. The ambulance service were informed of the incident.

Recovery was needed for both vehicles and highways were informed. Barbara got in touch with us via Twitter shortly after the incident happened to say that traffic was being diverted through Hope.

The road was reopened by 8:45am.
