A renewed appeal has been issued to trace a man who was verbally abusive towards a district nurse in Wrexham.

The public order incident took place on Derby Road, Brynteg, at 1.40am on May 8.

Police say a man, believed to be in his 30s, stopped a healthcare workers’ vehicle by putting his hand on the bonnet. He is then reported to have been abusive to the occupants and attempted to throw a bottle – however police say “it slipped from his hand”.

The man is described by police as being “5ft 7, with ginger hair and wearing checked shorts and a red baseball cap”.
