Popular Village Pubs Close Their Doors For The Final Time
A popular village pub in Wrexham has closed its doors for the final time.
The Butchers Arms on Chester Road, Rossett closed last Sunday – with metal fencing being put up around the facility over the past few days.
A small statement written on The Butchers Arms Facebook Page reads: “Haf and I would like to tell you I’m afraid The Butchers Arms has been sold.
“22nd May is our last trading day it has been sold as alternative use. We would like to take this time to thank you all for your custom hope to see you this weekend.”
The Butchers Arms is the second local pub to have closed in the past month, with The Plough in Llandegla announcing that they had closed their doors for the final time at the start of April.
