Nightingale House Hospice’s Christmas Fair this year will have a special guest together with a wide selection of festive stalls.

There will be an opportunity to meet Father Christmas and buy an early Christmas present or two at the event in St Margaret’s Church Hall, Wrexham on 23rd November.

With over 20 stalls including delicious homemade cakes for sale, Hospice staff and volunteers will be running the fundraising event.

Skin care products, make-up, Christmas tree decorations, art and crafts, knitted goods, handmade Christmas crackers and jewellery will all be on sale.

The fair runs from 10am to 2pm. The venue is opposite The Acton Park pub and The Four Dogs. There is plenty of on site parking and a bus stop within walking distance of the hall.

Admission is free with a collection bucket on the door for anybody wanting to make a donation to the hospice.

John White from St. Margaret’s Church Community Hall said: “In support of our chosen charity this year, we are pleased to offer our facilities to Nightingale House Hospice as the venue for their Christmas Fair.

“We look forward to welcoming everyone on Saturday 23 November and hope the event turns out to be both enjoyable and successful.”

Olivia Gallagher from the hospice’s fundraising and events team added: “Thank you to all of our volunteers for offering to help out on the day, GHP solicitors for sponsoring our raffle, St Margaret’s Hall for allowing us to use their venue and Emz Cakes for donating a selection of scrumptious cupcakes.

“It’s an annual event that is always well attended by our amazing supporters and they help create a fantastic Christmassy atmosphere. It’s the perfect opportunity for friends and family to come together to celebrate this wonderful time of the year.

“Come along and try some delicious homemade cakes, meet Father Christmas and get some of your Christmas shopping done early! We look forward to seeing you there – everyone is welcome.”
