Several vehicles damaged after ‘rocks thrown at cars’
Several cars have been damaged this evening, in attacks that prompted police calling in the police helicopter to assist.
John tweeted the above picture of the damage to his car, adding he thought it had been hit by a pellet fired from a ‘crossbow’.

The police helicopter has been in the skies of Wrexham for the second time today.
One reader has told us of an incident nearby this evening, that could be connected to the helicopter being up, he tolds us “Kids were throwing big rocks at cars stopped at the traffic lights. Mine and several other cars hit.”
Josh tweeted us to say: “They’re bricking people’s cars! Just bricked my Dads and nearly hit my Mum with it. Little bastards about time they done something.”

Earlier the police helicopter, dog units and other police resources were hunting a little more north.
An appeal was later made by police for information, again not confirmed as connected to the helicopter being up, however appears likely: “Appeal for dashcam of black Mondeo on 2014 plates acting suspiciously in the Boughton and Penyffordd area around 2.50pm.
“Later avoiding police before being abandoned in Rogers Lane Gwersyllt around 3.30pm. Two males ran off.”
Anyone with any information on either incident should call police via the 101 number.
