Police Appeal After Dog Bite Incident On Holt Road

Police are appealing for a dog walker to come forward following an incident on Holt Road, Wrexham in which a member of the public was bitten by one of three dogs.

The victim was walking towards the town centre when the dog walker with a collie and two other large black dogs , all on leads , walked past him near the rear entrance to the Wickes store on Holt Road at around 4.20pm yesterday.

The dog walker was understood to be having difficulty controlling the animals and the collie bit the victim on the leg, breaking the skin and causing bruising.

The dog walker who is described at 5ft 5ins tall, of stocky build and in his 40’s appeared to be unconcerned about the incident and continued in the direction of Spring Lodge.

The victim also believes a boy who had been walking ahead of him with other children may have also been bitten on the hand by the same dog just moments before he was attacked.
