Lanes Reopen Following Collision Near Gresford Roundabout

Update: All lanes re-opened and traffic returned to normal.

One lane of the southbound A483 had been closed after a vehicle hit the central reservation, the accident has happened just before the Gresford turn off.

North Wales Police tweeted at 6.16am “ROAD DISRUPTION – RTC on the A483 Southbound between JCT 6 & 7 just prior to Gresford roundabout.”

Latest traffic report says “one lane blocked on the A483 South due to accident, a car involved on A483 Southbound between J7 B5102 Llay Road (Rossett) and A5156 J6 / A5152 Chester Road / B5445 Chester Road / Blue Bell Lane (Gresford Interchange).

Traffic is coping well. Lane two (Of two) is blocked. A car has collided with the central reservation just prior to the Gresford roundabout.”
