Olly Murs to Play Racecourse Gig in June

Popstar Olly Murs has been announced as the latest act to perform at ‘My Racecourse’ in Wrexham in the summer.

Wrexham AFC, along with partners LHG Live and Orchard Entertainment have today announced that My Racecourse, Wrexham will welcome Olly Murs on Saturday 24 June, performing as part of his huge Summer UK Tour.

Following on from his spring arena tour, Olly Murs, one of British music’s biggest stars, announces his biggest headline shows yet; 20 outdoor dates across the UK, starting on Friday 02 June through to Saturday 19 August, with more dates to follow.

Olly Murs said, “I am thrilled to play at The Racecourse Ground in Wrexham. Outdoor shows are so much fun and I am looking forward to performing my biggest songs on my biggest outdoor tour.”

Before his huge summer tour, the spring of 2017 will see Olly play 23 UK shows including 3 O2’s and the opening night of the Teenage Cancer Trust shows.

Olly Murs shot to fame in 2009 after finishing second on the X Factor. Sine then he has recorded four multi-platinum albums, produced 4 Number 1 singles with total record sales exceeding 10 million. ’24 HRS’ is the follow up to the acclaimed million selling album ‘Never Been Better’.

Tickets for Olly Murs in Wrexham go on General Sale on Friday 2nd December November at 09:00am – They are not available at the shop yet. .

Tickets will be priced at: £39.50 + booking fee (General Admission) and £55.00 + booking fee (Platinum enclosure).

Last week it was announced that UB40 – featuring original members Ali Campbell, Astro and Mickey Virtue would be performing at My Racecourse on Friday 26 May 2017 as part of the band’s summer Grandslam UK Tour.
