Update: Police have said the missing cyclist has returned home.

Police have launched an appeal to trace a man missing from Oswestry.

Ben Black, 54, was last seen leaving his house at around 9am yesterday (Sunday 21 April). He said he was going on a 20mile bike ride and headed off in a unknown direction. Below is a 20 mile radius from Oswestry:

Ben is 5 foot 10 inches tall, bald with grey hair at the side and of heavy build.

He was wearing cycling gear including three-quarter-length black trousers, bike shoes, a white and blue bike jacket and a KAKT helmet.

He was riding a white and blue off road bike with thick black tyres.

Anyone who sees Ben or knows of his whereabouts should call 101 quoting incident 600s of 21 April 2019.
