The collision occurred on the A55 westbound carriageway between junction 38, Post House roundabout and junction 36A at Broughton at approximately 11.30 today. As a result of the collision the road was closed for five hours.

The incident involved three vehicles, a white DAF HGV, a white ford transit van and a beige Citroen Picasso.
