A large number of police have descended on a street in Gwersyllt this afternoon.

Update: Police have said they were called to the address just before midday due to reports of a ‘firearm’, however the report was a ‘malicious call’.

Original information below….

One resident told us they saw ‘armed police’ outside a house on First Avenue, and that they ‘appeared to be looking for someone’.

Prior to arriving at the street several police vehicles were seen in the nearby Lidl carpark.
