Fire service called to lorry fire in Llandegla

Firefighters were this afternoon called to to a vehicle fire in Llandegla.

North Wales Fire and Rescue Service were called to the blaze on the A525, toward Oneplanet Adventure, shortly before 3pm.

Reports of the fire on the A525 towards Oneplanet Adventure were made shortly before 3pm this afternoon.

Sian told Wrexham.com that a wagon was on fire in the area and that cars were turning around.

A spokesperson for North Wales Fire and Rescue Service confirmed firefighters had been called in to a lorry fire on the stretch of road.

One crew from Wrexham is in attendance at the blaze, two hose reel jets and breathing apparatus used to extinguish the fire.
