Just after 11am this morning fire crews attended an incident in Regent Street. The “B&M Bargains” store was cordoned off as fire crews entered it, with one eyewitness seeing “lots of smoke but no flames”.

When Wrexham.com went past we saw fire engines outside the Regent Street Chapel opposite Weatherspoon’s, although at that point there were no signs of a fire.

Mandy Jones saw the fire service entering the building, with Julie Wright telling us an ambulance also attended the scene.
