Although Christmas has just gone, there are a few shops in town that have already started selling Easter goodies.

This year Easter falls on April 20th, however that hasn’t stopped some shops around town getting into the Easter spirit early and stocking up on chocolate eggs.

We popped to the Spar in Rhosddu and noticed that they already had a few shelves of Easter chocolate available to buy. Amusingly we heard one little girl walk past the Easter eggs in one shop, and ask her dad ‘Why are they selling Easter eggs now Dad?”

While shops stocking Easter in January isn’t unusual, a few people contacted us last week via Twitter saying that it was too early to be seeing them for sale. With others adding that Easter adverts had already been shown on television.

What do you think about Easter eggs being sold in January? Consumerism gone crazy? Don’t care? Or still too busy eating chocolate that is shaped like a Christmas tree?
