There have been a further four car fires in and around Wrexham over the weekend.

Robert Reeves got in touch with us on Saturday saying he had seen a “burnt car-shaped mess on Havard way”.

As well as a car arson on Havard Way, others were reported on Conway Drive and Meadow Lea.

For those who know the area, the three sites are in a line West to East through Caia Park. Previous car arsons in the area have been very close to this ‘line’ through Caia.

A car was also found ablaze close, or in, garages in Gwersyllt around 10pm this last night. We have been told the car has been ‘completely destroyed’. The police helicopter was above town towards the Gwersyllt area.

Robert Reeves added “Very sad at Saturday nights car arson spree here. Good people. No one deserves this nonsense.”

UPDATE 3:58pm: The police have said “The incident in Millbrook Road Wrexham at 12.20am this morning is not being linked to a series of car fires in the Caia Park area of the town last month. Similarly two car fires reported around 3am on Saturday at Conway Drive and Havard Way are not being linked to the previous incidents.”
