Callous Thieves Steal Tools and Equipment From Llay Cemetery

Callous thieves have stolen tools and equipment from a Wrexham cemetery in an overnight raid.

Police are investigating after the thefts at the cemetery on Park Road, Llay where a strimmer, lawnmower and tools were stolen.

In another incident similar items were take from St Mary’s Church in Bagillt near Hollywell.

Both offences were carried out overnight between the 8th and 9th of August.

North Wales Police are asking members of the public to be extra vigilant with any equipment stored within sheds and outhouses over the summer months and for them to report any suspicious activity to the police control room on “101” or anonymously to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
