Staunch Nightingale House supporters Brother Industries of Ruabon have again been pulling out the stops to raise money for the hospice.

They recently made a total of £1,068 from a raffle, a Jolly Jumpers event and by collecting some small loose change. It brings the total raised since 2007 by the Vauxhall Industrial Estate based firm to £18,819.

Brother industries (UK) Ltd based in Ruabon, is the European Recycling Technology Centre for the Brother Group. They recycle Toner cartridges and package ink consumables for their range of printing products, as well as providing manufacturing and moulding services for a diverse range of customers.

Annette Casey, who has worked for Brother for 13 years organised the raffle, as she has done for many years. She collects prizes all through the year and asks for donations from family and friends.

Thanking all the company fundraisers Debbie Barton from Nightingale House said: “We really appreciate the support from everyone at Brother Industries. Over many years they have been wonderful supporters and have made a fantastic contribution to the work we do.”
