Two people have been arrested after police executed a number of drugs warrants in Wrexham this morning.

The Neighbourhood Policing Team targeted four addresses in the Caia Park area, including St David’s Crescent, West Circle and Smithfield Road.

A number of cannabis plants and bags of cannabis were recovered in St David’s Crescent and West Circle and two men were arrested.

One of the men has been charged with possession of a class B drug and the other has been released on bail pending further inquiries.

Inspector Helen Douglas said; “North Wales Police worked closely with Wrexham Borough Council during this successful operation and I would like to thank the local community for their engagement with officers and I would encourage anyone who may have information about drug crime to contact us on 101.”
