Application For New Housing In Rhostyllen
14 new houses could be erected in Rhostyllen if a planning application is successful.
It is proposed that the houses are built on the currently vacant, former Foundry site on Mount Lane.
In total there would be a combination of three and four bedroom houses built on the site, with 11 houses comprising of four bedrooms and the remaining houses consisting of three bedrooms.
It is hoped that the new development will ‘hopefully sustain longevity of its residents’.
Along with the erection of the 14 houses, it is proposed that associated garages and infrastructure are also added to the site.
The proposed appearance / exterior of the houses would be ‘sympathetic in design with the surrounding dwellings’ and would feature modern materials.
Within the application’s Design and Access Statement, it notes that there is ‘outline approval for 12 dwellings on the site’, however a full application has been submitted for the 14 houses and their associated infrastructure.
The application will be considered by the Planning Committee in the next few months.
