North Wales Police have charged a 67 year old man from Cheshire with 26 serious sexual offences against young boys during the early 1970’s.

The alleged offences took place in North Wales, West Mercia, Cheshire and Bristol.

He has been bailed to appear at Wrexham Magistrates Court on Friday 7 March 2014 .

We do not believe this arrest is linked to the Operation Pallial investigation into historical abuse at north Wales children’s homes.
