So today, all Kingdom contracts across North Wales ended, except in Wrexham. What are Councillors Pritchard and Bithell trying to hide?

Personally I think the council will get rid of Kingdom from Wrexham before the protest march to avoid embarrasment.

Latest Kingdom lunacy is that a 77 year old pensioner was approached by a Kingdom operative by NatWest in town and falsely accused of dropping a cigarette end just because there happened to be a cigarette end by the person’s feet. Kingdom demanded their details but as the person was completely innocent they quite rightly refused to give their details and walked off towards King Street where their car was parked. The Kingdom operative followed, using the fake scare tactic of threatening to call the police for assistance. The person didn’t go to their car, as Kingdom trace people from the registration, but simply got on a bus and got off again at the old fire station round the corner, then walked back to the car. No doubt the Kingdom operative hadn’t issued many fines that day and needed to issue a few more to get their bonus, so they thought that a pensioner who was completely innocent would be scared enough to give their details. Would they have tried that on with with the group’s of druggies who frequent that area? Somehow I doubt it.

A protest maarch has now been organised by North Wales Against Kingdom Security to take place on Saturday September 8th,outside the Guildhall, that’s unless Councillors Pritchard and Bithell see sense before before that date and cancel the WCBC contract with Kingdom. The fact that these two Councillors are still defending and allowing the issuing of illegal fines in Wrexham is shocking. Get rid of Kingdom and bring litter enforcement back in-house

North Wales Against Kingdom Security will be turning it’s full attention on Wrexham now, Kingdom will be gone from Wrexham eventually, but in the meantime can people please not deliberately litter but if you do accidentaly drop something or your child accidentally drops something and you are approached by Kingdom do not give them your details. Ignore their empty threats of a £2000 fine and of police backup for refusal to give your details and calmly walk away.

There is an extremely high chance that all Kingdom fines may have to be refunded in the near future. The Welsh Assembly are currently investigating.

So Conwy Council have now voted to get rid of Kingdom, we should find out tomorrow if Wrexham Council will be doing the same

It is my understanding that if we hear nothing then the contract still stands until further notice. No-one is allowed to report anything on the meeting. What a joke.[/quote

According to Wrexham Against Kingdom Security, the information will be released tomorrow once WCBC issue their decision notice. Apparently though, the meeting was described as “very frustrating”, which doesn’t sound promising.
