I really don’t think I could disagree with tremault more, certain breeds of dog are not the problem it is the deed, any dog in the wrong hands can be dangerous.
What breed of dog did you have?
Bull breeds/large breeds get all the press but 98% of dog bites recorded by A&E departments that are NOT caused by so called ‘dangerous’ breeds. From your photos all dogs are on leads and under control and do not appear to be showing any signs of aggression. I own 3 rottweilers and they are the most fantastic breed, my dogs have been to obedience classes and as a result are well socialised with other dogs, adults and children.
In a couple of weeks I will be attending an event http://www.rottiefest.co.uk where there will be lots of Rottweilers and this is the 3rd year for me and in all that time we have had no issues with dogs fighting or stepping out of line at all. In my opinion it just goes to show that responsible owners make for fantastic well rounded dogs regardless of the breed.
I’ve owned many dogs over my life small and large and I don’t think you can ask for a more affectionate loyal dog than a rottweiler. I’m a VERY proud Rottweiler owner.
Just once more in the hope people take it in DEED NOT BREED
