Call me an old fart but I can remember when we had bins and the bin men used to take our bin bags once a week. That seemed to work ok.

Me and Mrs councillor X manage to fill our black bin in two weeks and it’s only me and her. Three week collections would be a bad move.

Why do they need consultants? They can have the use of Mrs Councillor X. She always tells me what I should be doing and they would only have to give her a bottle of sherry every couple of weeks

That was OUR Matty he is a right numpty. It was on the Heart FM website so explains why it was useless.
I believed him because Asda is usually the cheapest. Mrs Councillor X goes there and always comes back saying its cheaper and she knows because she drives to all the main petrol stations to find the cheapest to fill up.
I tried telling her she is wasting petrol but its like talking to those numpty remainers.

With everything going on in this country all you have to worry about is petrol pumps?

Shell is expansive btw

Asda Wrexham – Unleaded = 132.9p / Diesel = 139.9p
Sainsbury’s Wrexham – Unleaded = 132.9p / Diesel = 138.9p
Tesco Wrexham – Unleaded = 133.9p / Diesel = 139.9p
Lets have a vote of no confidence in Boris once Parliament is back from being prorogued and then free beer on tap at every Wetherspoons on election day during the hours of polling!
I had a good point to make on this but you lost me at “free beer on tap at every Wetherspoons”
So is this actually happening? Do you know what “beer” it is? Do you have to vote for one party or can I vote for anyone?
Thanks
Counc. X

I used to protest for Wales to get out of the UK.

These pr*cks are protesting for Parliament not to be suspended. I am sure that this won’t happen now as a direct result of a few people walking from Queens Square to the Guildhall.

Your MP doesn’t care less about you you or me! POWER TO THE PEOPLE!!!!!!!
Vote Lucas out and get the BREXIT Party in. They are a bunch of cretins but that would prove the power of the p*ssed off voter!

So other than Brexit, what are the amazing policies the Brexit Party have to offer to improve the lives of millions of people and make our country (whether you consider that Wales and/or the UK) a better place for everyone?

Or are you willing to risk everything, like our NHS, workers rights, environmental regulations and food standards to name but a few, just to prove a ‘p*ssed off’ point?
If the Tory Government had taken us out when they were supposed to, then this wouldn’t be an issue and this thread would not exist! Try doing as straw poll at Wetherspoons and see what response you get about Elections and BREXIT.
I think you will find that any BREXIT candidate will get a lot of support from Wrexham.

Are you going to join Matt on the march then? I hope so because he would be lonely without you.

A local councillor has called for glyphosate-based weedkillers which have been linked to cases of cancer to be banned in Wales.
Councillor Ronnie Prince has lobbied Wrexham Council to end its use of products such as Roundup for more than a year after he witnessed it being sprayed on grass verges in Caia Park.

BLAME RONNIE for the weeds!

Matt, I have a weed free garden. MRs Councillor X went to a “retreat” for a couple of weeks and Podge started a rumour I had done away with her. I ended up helping the police while they dug my garden up.

If you clone him then there is a chance he will actually do something as Lead Council Member for Poverty and Young People …
Considering how hated AA is, you should remember that he was elected in one of the most contested seats in the Borough.
There are at least two on the council (at least one on executive board), who were elected “No Contest”
AA gets voted I by the posh brigade.
They need to build a load of Council houses there and see how many votes he gets. But he would just block the plans.

One man’s weed is another man’s flower. Remember that Wrexham Council has been urged to allow wildflowers to grow on grass verges throughout the county.
So these weeds/ flowers are helping with biodiversity and saving a lot of cash so they can tarmac the Councillor and Top Management Car Park (had a look when on the way to Saith Seren and it was looking good)
I did comment the other day that the roundabouts looked sh1te now the flowers were dead and needed burning off.

JP is right about the rubbish. You see a lot of nobs with stuff falling off their trailers BUT its better than fly tipping ain’t it?

Going to help the towns economy now and pop over to the dirty dragon.
