Hardly a surprise but I agree with your point. Devolution has had very little positive affect on Wrexham that I can see.

Those cities are also where the ‘government hubs’ are to be located – taking really good civil service jobs from Wrexham and similar unfashionable towns/cities and placing them in urban centres – beginning with HMRC. seems Government only want jobs in the cities.
