Kirsty Williams Education Minister has this morning stated on BBC Politic Today that the Rowan Foods Covid Outbreak is contained in the factory — what a load of nonsense when their are 300 missing employees within our communities.
Ministers should be fully briefed on facts and not make rash statements about how safe it is to get our children back into schools and Wrexham should not follow the Anglesey Council decision to not open schools.

It would seem that they have found the missing 300. Over the weekend an investigation found half were not working at the time of outbreak while the others were self isolating. So it seems all are accounted for so no illegals as has been sprouted in the National gutter press and social media rubbish.

So if PHW data is correct then only 4 positive testing cases in Wrexham area over last 2 days and no Deaths. Good news!!

Please point us to the source of information that you refer to that all 300 have now been found.

Council issue outbreak update: 1067 people tested and councillors told 19 more people test positive taking total to 185

    Quoted

    “Testing
A mobile testing station was sent to Rowan Food to test all workers and establish the extent of the outbreak. To date 1067 workers have been tested with a 185 testing positive and 856 negative. We are awaiting 26 test results which are yet to be cross referenced. A further 300 workers are yet to be tested with 150 of these either currently shielding or on long term absence (these will not be tested). The remaining 150 will be tested in the next 48 hours. The turnaround time for 742 of the samples was actually within 24 hours.”

I think that probably accounts for the near 1400 that are employed there.
