The Rugby League World Cup starts in less than 20 days with the opening ceremony in the Millennium Stadium, Cardiff on 26 October with England v Australia and Wales v Italy played on the same day.

RLWC2013 comes to the Racecourse on 3 November for Wales v USA and one of the Quarter finals on 16 November – if Wales win all their group games they will play again at the Racecourse.

Are you looking forward to RLWC2013?
Are you going to any games in Wrexham?
Have you got your tickets yet?
Are you going to any other games?

I’m backing Wales, I would be very, very shocked if the USA team beat Wales.

Huge congratulations to the Wrexham: Bringing Rugby League To Life team from WCBC for their hosting and promotion of the Rugby League World Cup. 8019 spectators through the turnstiles and a thoroughly well organised event. There were hundreds fo school children, youth rugby teams, dancers etc who all enjoyed the day. The only shame was that the Wales performance didn’t match the effort of the organisers.

We still have a Quarter final in a World Cup in our home town which promises to be a great game Australia v USA.

Lots of people complain there are never any major events in our area. Well we have a World Cup Quarter final – lets give it the support it deserves
