The world is full of drivers who have no idea how big or small their vehicle actually is. I’m forever driving past parked cars when there’s ample room for 2 and some doris waits and looks at you like you pushed through. This bridge is the same, unless there’s a tank coming the other way, just get on with it.
People rush through as they presume it means they have less chance of having to pass through at the same time as an oncoming car. It is a kind of game of chicken in effect. Perhaps a speed bump at the approach to the underpass on both sides might help.
@Bryn6, @WrexhamUser; the point I was making was not about whether or not 2 cars can pass each other (I already stated they can) but about showing a bit of consideration for other drivers. Surely that is not too much to ask?
