Ioan y FfinParticipantThe Conservatives have not taken us out of the EU as they have discovered that ending Britain’s close relationship with the rest of Europe is a lot more complicated than the Vote Leave campaign cared to admit during the 2016 referendum campaign or since. Boris is now discovering that ‘do or die’ is not so simple when you are in government either. A man whose transport policy as mayor for London involved a few bikes and a failed airline across the River Thames is going to struggle to understand the challenges of running a country. He can grandstand, declaim, jest, throw in the odd word of Latin and Greek, but he is not trusted by his fellow MPs, opposition politicians, international statesmen and women around the world and a maasive swathe of the British electorate. If Labour have any sense they will make sure the election takes place on a level playing field rather than the dodgy home turf of Boris and Dom’s choosing.

MattParticipantThe election is coming don’t worry -we’re getting ready now. You may continue leaving hilarious takes right out of the far right media and Boris’ propaganda machine.
Ken Clarke and Churchill’s Grandson thrown out of the Tories, Rees Mogg looking like a homeless oik on the front benches. Dominic Cummings running around Westminster pissed on red wine accosting journalists and screaming at Corbyn to call an election.
It’s easy enough to angrily deflect criticism at Corbyn to mask massive catastrophic failings of the Conservative Government but their goose is cooked. That is perhaps part of Corbyn’s power, make him look like a fool, attack his character, state he associates with dodgy characters, but he hasn’t put a foot wrong against either May or Johnson – he has quietly and calmly caused the Tories – out of their own foolishness take a working majority and turn it into a humiliating minority.
You’d best hope Farage and the Brexit party have some magic tricks for this election.

TimRegencyParticipantMaybe people stayed away because of the self-righteous caterwauling of the Wrexham for EU FBPE mob, but I for one will still be voting to remain in any new referendum. I’m sure there are plenty of others who haven’t been put off by the FBPE types as well.
