Im glad they are appealing as the planning officer use petty & unreasonable excuses to refuse the Greenhouses, increased traffic & a eye sore, its on the Wrexham industrial estate, only people traveling to work would see it & not that much extra traffic.
Also the traffic would be on a road that has had a considerable upgrade from the lane that was there previously; so difficult to understand how there would be a negative impact.
We had to have a proposed prison on the estate, before the access roads were considered in need of improvement, strange that.
I read that the fools regarded it as a warehouse and therefore industrial instead of greenhouses which are agricultural, and it’s already agricultural land, so should have been waved through via delegated powers.
I hope they go after council for full costs including the subsidy they missed because of this bonkers decision.
It’s due to be built on one of the biggest industrial estates in Europe. Yet the geniuses at the council feel that a little bit of extra traffic will be a problem.
BornAcom – 2019 without all of the extra costs, the loss of good paid jobs and more — why the Councilors feel they have more knowledge than Planning Officers (although they are not perfect)- the whole system needs an overhaul.
JaneJ, do your research! It was the planning officers that turned this down NOT the planning Committee therefore they should pay the costs out of their wages.
