RondettoParticipantThese people stacking up their trolleys with countless toilet roll,s paracetamol, tinned tomatoes and baked beans
should be ashamed of themselves. They are hoarding things making others go short because the shelves are left empty.
I was in Asda this morning and even after announcements over the tannoid that they were limited to one bale of toilet rolls I saw many with their trolleys stacked high.
The two girls manning the self service tills were working damned hard helping customers and even had abuse for telling people they could only have one bale of rolls. They deserve a bonus for the onslaught they dealt with today. For those of you who stacked up trolleys and are hoarding stuff. Shame on you.

wrexviewParticipantMatt Hancock has said today they may need to use hotel rooms as extra medical accommodation in England, if that became necessary here in Wrexham then the Ramada Hotel would be the ideal choice as it is in close proximity to the Maelor Hospital . Of course it would be totally pointless if there isn’t sufficient equipment or staff to support it.

newwalesParticipantIts disgusting, that the government is no longer testing almost everyone that has symptoms & not to contact 111 for first 7 days, how are we supposed to know the number of infected people if they are not tested???

Does anyone know how I find out if I have a high temperature if I don’t have a thermometer and I cannot go out?
I will struggle to live off SSP and will have to decide what bills I can pay so would rather we in work. Its ok for the people who don’t want to work and have free rent and council tax and stuff. If I don’t pay my rent I will get kicked out. But I don’t want to infect anyone if I do get it.
Just on TV now and they are saying people think they had the virus so have gone back to work but don’t know if they had it without testing

TimRegencyParticipantIf you try typing ‘how to tell if I have a fever’ into a search engine, there’s some advice about checking for high temperature without a thermometer eg via other symptoms, such as sweating and dehydration.
I agree on the testing:

“the most effective way to prevent infections & save lives is breaking chains of transmission…to do that, you must test & isolate.
You cannot fight a fire blindfolded. And we cannot stop this pandemic if we don’t know who is infected”

krazypavingParticipantOK guys.. There will be a way to compensate anyone That has time off they just haven’t figured it out yet. Like most I don’t need to be losing time off work unpaid. My employer is. A small business and they are worried how they will pay sick employees. The thing Is common sense. Unless you take the piss and call coronavirus for time off work eg.. Council members that think they will get 6 months full pay for a goddamn cough. News to you guys. You have 7 days… You call sick now then get The virus.. You won’t get paid. As for others. If you work in a larger company, unless they have asked you to voluntary take leave you wik hav eto get paid, and they will be reimbursed
