These bins have been a problem for years and they stand next to our only Grade1 listed building , St Giles Parish Church. The ones on York Street are not only an eyesore but smell in this hot weather. They are all permanently on the street , why is there no provision for these bins within the curtilage of the buildings they belong too? When planning permission is given for extra residential properties within the town centre, they should check that there is adequate provision for bins, both general and recycling.

Totally agree, the ones on York Street stink and look terrible.

Someone set one of the ones on Temple Row alight the other day as well.
