Level Up is a game & media technology exhibition that showcases student work alongside local and national industry partners. The aim of the show is to showcase talent and help bolster the local and regional games, interactive media & development sector by encouraging soon to be/recent graduates and local young people to form their own start-up companies, as well as allowing established local and regional businesses a chance to network and demonstrate technologies. Level Up will feature an open floor exhibit along with career starter and developer workshops throughout the day.

Level Up takes place Glyndwr University, in the Catrin Finch Centre on Wednesday May 25th, 10am – 5pm.

This years’ Level Up will feature a number of student games to play test ranging from first person shooters and action platformers to serious games applications promoting Welsh history and culture. In addition, the event will be attended by BAFTA Cymru, Shift Focus Films, Gaia Tech, Games Homepage and Quantum Soup along with representatives from TT Games in attendance. The local retro game store, Pixels will also be on hand with items for sale along with a selection of retro games consoles available to play.

The Glyndwr University Enterprise Zone and Careers advisors will also be exhibiting, providing an emphasis on our Enterprise Lounge facility and the business start-up support on offer within the University.

Level Up is completely free. No sign-ups required, just turn up on the day.
