Commemorate Holocaust Memorial Day 2018 with AVOW.

The theme for this year is ‘The Power of Words’, with this in mind, we’re bringing together community leaders such as the Mayor of Wrexham, Councillor John Pritchard, Bishop Peter Brignall, Eric Ngalle Charles a poet from Cameroon who has taken refuge and inspiration in Wales, LGBT speaker Kate Hutchinson. The latter two speeches will be condensed into poetry from Voicebox-Spoken Word locals Peter Rogers and Natasha Borton.

Alongside the speakers there will be an exhibition about the Holocaust and subsequent genocides and a light buffet of foods inspired by countries effected by Nazi Persecution – this looks set to be a lively, varied and informative event for all.
