“CHIRK PALS” TALK TO CIVIC SOCIETY

The Wrexham Area Civic Society presents a talk by Graham Greasley entitled “CHIRK PALS”. This will consider the “Band of Brothers” type of recruitment for military service to the Royal Welch Fusiliers at the commencement of the First World War.

Graham makes a welcome return to the Civic Society. He is a member of the Chirk Historical Society, and gives conducted tours of Chirk and of the Dee and Ceiriog valley areas. He has also written about the history of Chirk and its environs.
