Wrexham Golf Club recently held its 20th anniversary Wrexham Golf Day in conjunction with Nightingale House Hospice and, once again, it was a wonderful successful event.

The sun managed to appear for most of the day and the golfers who took part were all in jovial competitive spirits!

There were 51 teams of four from all over the region and beyond and together they raised over £4,446 for the Hospice.

Anne and Selwyn Roberts, members at the Wrexham Golf Club have been giving up their time for the last eleven years to continue the 20 year tradition of the Wrexham Golf Day.

Lee Hallam, Community & Events Fundraiser for Nightingale House said, “This day is a perfect example of how the local community can make such a difference with helping to run and co-ordinate events with the Hospice. Their fabulous organisation and enthusiasm for this event has never waned and we cannot thank them enough for their support of the Hospice.”

The day included an 18 hole round of golf with the glorious views from the course followed by a delicious two course meal & evening presentation.
