Yesterday saw around 2000 cyclists take part in the Etape Cymru cycling event around Wrexham.

The 88-mile event started and finished at Bangor-on-Dee Racecourse, with a route that took participants through Denbighshire, the Horseshoe Pass and World’s End.

Yesterday we reported that a number of tacks had been discovered on the route, causing six cyclists to suffer punctures. However these were repaired, allowing the cyclists to continue on in the race.

Underneath is our photo special of the event. The images have all been supplied by Sue McGrane from the The Wrexham Film and Photography Collective.
