Crowds gathered earlier today in Eagles Meadow to witness the special opening of Wrexham FC’s Wembley Shop.

Around 200 people descended on the shop, located in the old Past Times unit (opposite M&S), and witnessed the cutting of the ribbon by Sky Sports commentator Bryn Law.

Bryn Law had some words of wisdom for onlookers: “All the money made from the shop goes back into the club, so get your wallets out and spend generously!” Bryn was joined at the opening by Wrex the Dragon, Steve Cook, Wrexham FC’s Commercial Manager and Spencer Harris of Wrexham Supporters Trust.

The store itself was still being kitted out with stock only a short time before the midday opening and much of what is on offer is ‘on the day’ merchandise such as foam hands, wigs and hats (all in red and/or white of course!). Hefty queues built up within the first few minutes of opening as fans rushed to get their pick of what is on offer.

The store is open until 5:30pm today, and future opening hours will be 9.00am until 5.30pm Monday to Saturday, opening 10.00am until 4.00pm on Sundays. Please note the store will be closed during home matches.

The Eagles Meadow store is an outlet where you can be sure you will be purchasing official quality items with all the revenue ending up at the fans owned club.
